Terms of Service — ScootShare

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScootShare, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this platform.

2. Use of the Platform

ScootShare is a marketplace that connects scooter owners and rental businesses (Hosts) with travellers and local renters (Riders). ScootShare does not own the listed vehicles. Online payment processing is not live yet; any future payment service, fee and provider terms will be disclosed before use.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to make bookings or list a scooter. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use ScootShare.

4. Bookings and Cancellations

A Rider submits a booking request and the Host must accept it before the booking is confirmed. Current cancellation rules are shown before a request is submitted. No online payment is collected while ScootShare payments are not live.

5. Liability

ScootShare does not currently provide insurance, damage protection or roadside assistance. Riders are responsible for holding the licence and permissions required for their circumstances, and Hosts remain responsible for the vehicle and handover obligations that apply to them. Detailed liability terms require Indonesian legal review before paid launch.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the platform for illegal purposes, provide false information, manipulate reviews, or use a scooter outside of the agreed rental terms.
